Tom Lyne was educated at the Universities of Reading,
Warwick and
the Institut d'Etudes Politiques, Paris. He has
taught at the
Universities of Limerick (Ireland) and Portsmouth
(England) and
been a visiting lecturer at the Universite de
Paris-X. He has
advised the British Labour Party and for many
years was chief
European advisor to Nobel Prize-winner John
Hume MP, MEP, the
principal architect of the Irish peace process.
