UNDP (Asian Bureau): Scaling up Poverty Alleviation Programs (2005)

Cases: Malawi Social Action Fund; Zambian Social Investment Fund; South Asia Poverty Alleviation Program; Chiles Pension Scheme

 

For this project I have prepared a number of case studies, and editied the remaining case studies to be included in a UNDP publication scheduled for December 2005. I have also written an analytical case that assesses the merits and shortcomings of various programs that have been scaled-up in poor countries. This publication is supported by the government of Pakistan which will host a conference on the issue where the cases will be presented.

 

 

OECD Development Center: NGOs and the UN (1997)

 

I represented the OECD Development Center at UN briefings to NGOs, reported to the Center about the contents of these briefings, and wrote a report about the interaction between NGOs and the UN.
