This course will provide an overview of major figures and themes of modern political thought. This course is designed to stimulate an interest in the philosophy and methods of terrorism; to illustrate the varieties of conditions under which methods of terrorism are used; to outline the institutional conditions which permit and support the use of terrorism; and to understand the problems involved in "solving" the terrorism dilemma.
